What is viral  marketing? In order to answer this question, you will need to dig in and answer these questions as well:

What is YouTube?

What is Flickr?

What is FaceBook?

What are Social Networking Websites?

What is Twitter?

I could add over a hundred more, but let’s not go there. The point is viral marketing is huge. And if you hope to cash in on the vast amount of money to be made online, then you must simply research some of these most talked about players of the social networking scene.

The most important thing to remember when participating in Viral Marketing and Social Networking Websites is to be yourself, make genuine connections, and take the time to develop meaningful relationships.

Success is almost guaranteed when your efforts are carried through on a consistent basis and in an honorable way. Most of your competitors will either act with the hard sell approach or simply fade away and not market with continuity. When you do, your efforts will bring results.

Al Franken and Viral Marketing

April 28th, 2009 admin No comments

al frankenWhat does Al Franken know about viral marketing?

Reaching beyond his home state of Minnesota into the hearts of Americans and beyond, Franken has hoisted himself into the spotlight not by promoting a new book with a controversial title but by using politics as his platform.

Yes, he won the Senate race in Minnesota – it is official. And no it doesn’t matter, that it was far from a landslide.

This is the man who wrote the book

Rush Limbaugh Is a Big Fat
Idiot.

The title of his book speaks volumes about his frank way of communicating.

Franken obviously doesn’t feel compelled to sensor his thoughts. And this is most likely why voters wanted him in office. Refreshing honesty. Who cares about being politically correct?

If one lives in a way that he is not afraid of gathering enemies…he is probably doing something right. This what people who want to embrace the full power of viral marketing need to understand – be bold, and lighten up. You go Al!
