I don’t always agree with Seth Godin of Seth’s Blog fame – but more often than not, I do. There are only so many “marketing” inputs that I can handle during my average day and of course the whole “trust” aspect is super important too. How do you know if the bombardment of information making its way your brain stem is even remotely true?  So, when you find those special advisers  – Gurus if you will, that you have had good success with – you hold on to them.  They can provide a tidbit of information or a marketing breakthrough — eventually you end up being a better marketeer.

Seth’s Blog, for me, has been like an old friend that I connect with several times a week. The simple fact that we’ve never met – and I don’t show up on his radar screen in the slightest, is fine with me. As long as I can continue to utilize his vast knowledge and quirky way of thinking – I’ll continue to see what he has to say.
